BAKELESS PINEAPPLE ICEBOX CAKE 
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten until thick
1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
1 c. broken pecan pieces
3/4 lbs. vanilla wafers, crushed into fine crumbs

Butter an 8-inch pan. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add beaten eggs, pecan pieces and crushed pineapple. Press a layer of vanilla wafer crumbs on bottom of pan. Add layer of pineapple mixture, another layer of crumbs, etc. until all ingredients are used, finishing with crumbs on top. Chill overnight in refrigerator so mixture blends.
