SCHAUM TORTE 
6 egg whites
2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat egg whites to a stiff froth. Gradually add sugar and continue beating. Add vinegar and vanilla and continue to beat until stiff peaks remain. Drop onto floured and sugared baking sheet and bake in slow oven (250 degrees) for 50 minutes. Serve with ice cream or fresh fruit and whipped topping.
