| NO BAKE CHOCOLATE OATS COOKIES | |

1 stick butter 2 c. sugar 4 tbsp. cocoa 1/2 c. milk 1/2 c. chunky peanut butter 3 1/2 c. quick oatmeal Put butter, sugar, cocoa and milk in a saucepan. Cook to a rolling boil and boil 1 minute. Take from stove and add peanut butter and oatmeal. Stir and drop by tablespoon on waxed paper. Allow to set and enjoy! | |

A favorite when I was growing up, I'd lost the recipe. This brought it all back! Very quick - took only about 5 minutes to throw it all together - and ultimately tasty treat!

I love this recipe. I have made it for years but I had lost the recipe. Thanks for having it here. Love it love it. One suggestion to those who have never made these. Never use margarine. The candies don't harden and are very soft. They just don't come out right. You must use butter. I made that mistake once cuz I was out of butter... lol.
