MICROWAVED FRESH CORN ON THE COB
Corn with fresh green husks

Place corn on turntable of microwave, with about 1" space between. Cook no more than 4 ears at a time on HIGH setting. Cook 1 ear for 6 minutes, 2 ears 10 minutes and 4 ears 15 to 17 minutes or until tender.

When corn has finished cooking, let cool a few minutes, then using a towel to protect your hands, hold corn and peel back the husks, the silks will be easy to remove.

Salt and butter the ears at this time, the husks may be pulled back over the ear to keep warm or completely remove husks and serve. Delicious!

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.

You should never heat anything in Saran Wrap. There have been studies done on the dangers of this but I don't remember the exact effect it has on the human body.

Husk corn. Wrap in saran wrap, no water needed. I just cooked two decent sized corn and only cooked for 3 minutes and it was great! The corn will be tender and juicy if you don't overcook it.

I found that two ears of corn cooked just fine in 5 minutes on HIGH and then left to sit in the microwave for 5 minutes. Maybe my oven is more powerful. Very easy recipe! So much faster than on the stovetop!
