MY-T-FINE CHOCOLATE FUDGE
1 pkg. My-T-Fine chocolate pudding mix (3.5-4 oz)
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 tbsp. butter

Use the type of chocolate pudding which requires cooking, not instant pudding. The size of the pudding mix varies, but the results are the same and are dictated by the other ingredients (sugar, etc.)

Mix contents of package with sugar and milk.

Cook to 238°F or until drop of mixture forms a soft ball in cold water. Remove from heat; add 1 tablespoon butter without stirring. Cool slightly.

Beat until thick and creamy. Pour into buttered 9 x 9 inch pan. Cool completely.

Cut into squares. Makes about 3/4 pound.

As a child growing up, my mother always made the fudge with My*T*Fine Pudding and Pie Filling. We sold it at our kool-aid stand and it was always a big hit. All my friends would say that my mom made the best fudge in the world. No longer seeing the package on the supermarket shelves was sad to say the least. Then...I am shopping in Publix last night and lo and behold ~ there it was, sticking out like it was yelling to me "Here I am!" LOL I grabbed some boxes and was so excited to tell my Mom what I had found. She is elderly now but cant wait to get to the stove and once again, make the best fudge in the world! Thank you!

I too grew up with my mother making fudge from My T Fine pudding and pie mix. For years I looked for MyT Fine and dreamed of that fudge. A bid thank you to Publix for adding this to your shelves. Mom is gone now, but she would be very happy that is back on the store shelves. Christmas is now complete!

My husband considered himself a good cook because he could please our family making fudge out of My T Fine Pudding and Pie Filling. It was delicious and we all enjoyed it. Can't wait to make fudge again myself since I found the recipe here on line.

Recipes Need the size of box, it matters. I use Jello since I can't get Mi ti fine anymore. Small box is not enough, how many ounces. I only found 3.9 oz at my store. This is a recipe and size/ oz is needed. Also, it should be the cook and serve, NOT instant.

I looked for years for a fudge made with pudding like my mom made (65 years ago). Jello pudding recipe called for chocolate chips and wasn't at all like mom's. It never occurred to me that she was using a pudding mix that I haven't seen on the shelves for years. I found it at Meijer's after running across this recipe. So Happy!
