JEFF'S ROAST DUCK | |
Take 1 (4 to 5 pound) duck, scratch the duck's skin lengthwise with a sharp fork. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder and Accent season salt. Rub soy sauce over duck. Place in shallow pan breast up. Add 1 cup of water to pan along with 4 ounces soy sauce and 2 ounces Wrights natural hickory seasoning (optional). Bake in 350 degree oven for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. OPTIONAL BASTING SAUCE: 2 tbsp. melted butter 1 tsp. garlic salt 2 oz. soy sauce 1 oz. hickory flavoring Baste duck completely every 45 minutes until duck is done. |
