PINEAPPLE SAUCE FOR HAM 
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple with syrup
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. prepared mustard

In small saucepan, mix brown sugar, cornstarch, and salt; stir in pineapple with syrup, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, and mustard. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir 1 minute. Serve with baked ham on side or glaze ham as it bakes.

This is so easy and so delicious. I followed the recipe...exactly...and used it to pour over two thick ham slices. The extra sauce was used to pour over the ham at the table. Everyone loved it!

I used 1 can of pineapple tidbits as well as the 1 can of crushed pineapple and added 1 extra tablespoonful of cornstarch as well as 1 extra tablespoonful of freshly squeezed lemon juice -it was delicious and the pineapple tidbits in it added to the visual appeal as well as the flavour.
