JEFF'S ROAST 
5 lb. roast beef (bottom round)
3 bay leaves
1/4 chopped dried onions
2-3 cloves garlic
1/8 tsp. each thyme, rosemary, pepper
1 bottle non-alcohol grape wine, olive oil (1-2 tbsp.)

In a roasting pan line with foil enough to make a tent up and over the meat. Place roast in pan, rub with oil. Pour wine in with roast enough for approximately 1/2 inch pan at all times. Place bay leaves in wine, add onions on top of roast. Add spices on top of this. Make tent with foil and cover. Cook at 350-375 degrees for 2 1/2 to 3 3/4 hours until cooked. Remove from pan and add enough flour to liquid to make gravy.
