WET WALNUT ICE CREAM TOPPING
1 cup light corn syrup (Karo)
1/2 cup brown sugar (more if you desire a sweeter syrup)
6 oz. finely chopped walnuts

In a saucepan, bring corn syrup and brown sugar to a boil, stirring very frequently. Add walnuts and boil lightly for four minutes, stirring very frequently.

Let mixture sit at least one hour, then add water to desired consistency.

Store in refrigerator and heat slightly in microwave before serving.

Note: More water may be added if needed after microwaving. Pecans may be substituted for walnuts.
