HOT FUDGE (ICE CREAM TOPPING)
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
2 sq. unsweetened chocolate (or substitute 3 tbsp. cocoa and 1 tbsp. butter of each square)
1 c. boiling water
3 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugar, cornstarch together. Add chocolate, butter, and vanilla. Add boiling water. Stir continuously over medium heat until it thickens, take off heat and dip onto ice cream. This recipe also works as a pudding icing for cake. Just double the recipe (depending on cake size). It never gets hard!

I tried this recipe one evening to put with brownies and vanilla ice cream. It was great, and simple to prepare. We all loved it, and it was the perfect consistency the next day as well. This recipe is definitely a keeper.

Easy recipe, tastes much better than the commercial variety. I store it in the fridge in the empty jar from the store-bought fudge, and it's still great months later.
