1 3/4 c. sifted all purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. quick cooking oatmeal
1 1/2 c. raisins, chopped
1 c. apples, chopped
1/2 c. nutmeats, chopped

Sift flour, salt, baking powder, soda and cinnamon together. Cream shortening, add sugar gradually, cream well. Beat eggs until light and fluffy and add to the creamed mixture.

Add oatmeal, raisins and apples, mix well. Add dry ingredients and nutmeats, mix well. Drop batter by tablespoonsful onto greased sheets. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for about 12 minutes.
