JUDY'S EASY DELICIOUS PORK CHOPS
AND GRAVY
 
Great served with mashed potatoes!

1 env. dry onion soup mix (Lipton)
4 lean pork chops
1 (10 oz.) can Campbell's beef consomme
1 cup water
1 to 2 tbsp. cornstarch (for gravy)

Brown pork chops on both sides in deep fry pan. Add dry soup mix, consomme and water. Bring to boiling, then reduce heat to medium, cover and simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, checking occasionally and adding a little more water if needed.

Remove pork chops and add cornstarch, adding a little more water or cornstarch as needed for gravy. Stir over medium heat for a few minutes or until thickened.

Serves 4.
