APPLE CRISP 
1 tbsp. lemon juice
3-4 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
6-7 apples (unpeeled, cored, and sliced)
3/4 c. uncooked rolled oats
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
3 tbsp. butter

Sprinkle lemon juice, granulated sugar, and cinnamon over apples. Spread fruit in large baking dish. Mix together oats, flour, and brown sugar in small bowl. Blend in butter; mixture will be crumbly. Sprinkle crumb mixture evenly over apple mixture. Bake 30 minutes at 375 degrees or until apples are tender and topping is golden.

Yield: 8 servings

Per serving: 266 calories - 5.5 grams fat. No cholesterol.
