GRANDMA WARREN'S CHEESE PUFFS | |
1 loaf bread 1 lb. cheddar cheese, grated 1 stick butter 1 egg, beaten 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce Salt, pepper and grated onion juice to taste Cream butter and cheese together. Mix in egg and seasonings. Trim crusts from slices of bread and line a casserole dish with bread. Butter the bread and layer with more bread. Cover the bread with cheese mixture. Let stand in refrigerator overnight. Toast under broiler and serve hot. |
