SAND TARTS 
2 sticks butter
2 c. flour
3 tbsp. powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans

Cream butter and sugar; add flour, pecans, and vanilla. Mix thoroughly. Mold with hands into balls. Bake at 350 degrees about 15-20 minutes or until light golden brown. When cool, roll in sifted powdered sugar. Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
