CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM 
2/3 c. cocoa
2 1/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 qt. milk
6 eggs, well beaten
3 c. heavy cream
1 tbsp. vanilla
Milk

Combine cocoa, sugar, and salt in saucepan. Gradually stir in 1 quart of milk. Add eggs and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly. Bring mixture to a boil. Remove from heat and cool slightly. Stir in cream and vanilla. Pour into 1 gallon churn and add enough milk until 2/3 full.
