POOR MAN'S POT ROAST 
1/2 lb. ground beef
1 lg. onion (bite size pieces)
6 to 8 med. potatoes
4 to 6 carrots
1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 clove minced garlic

Brown ground beef, onion and garlic in a large pot. Add Worcestershire sauce and water. Stir. Throw in potatoes and carrots cut into fairly small pieces.

Cover and steam for about 20 minutes or until vegetables are fork tender. Serve with tossed salad and bread for a simple, but hearty meal.
