HUNGARIAN GOULASH | |
2 1/2 lbs. ground beef 1 c. chopped onion 1 clove garlic 1 1/2 tbsp. paprika 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. thyme 2 bay leaves 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes 1 c. dairy sour cream Brown meat. Reduce heat. Add onions and garlic. Cook until onion is tender, but not brown. Blend in seasonings. Add tomatoes. Simmer, uncovered, about 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then stir in sour cream and remove from heat. Spoon over hot buttered noodles, about a 12 ounce package. |
