GREEK COOKIES 
2 sticks soft butter
1/4 c. powdered sugar
2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
2 c. very finely chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. ice water

With electric mixer, blend butter and powdered sugar. Fold in flour and pecans. Blend well. Add vanilla and ice water. Mix well. Roll a small amount of dough between fingers to form crescent-shaped cookie. Place cookies on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes until lightly browned. While cookies are hot, roll gently in more powdered sugar.

This is the only recipe for these cookies without eggs. I was given this by a co-worker 40 years ago. Lost all recipes in a flood. I sure hope this is the one. Ty
