CRANBERRY COFFEE CAKE 
1 stick soft butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 pt. sour cream
1 tsp. almond flavoring
1 (7 oz.) can whole cranberry sauce
1/2 c. chopped fresh cranberries

Cream butter and add sugar. Add eggs, 1 at a time. Add dry ingredients alternately with sour cream, ending with dry ingredients. Add flavoring and fresh cranberries.

Grease and flour bundt or tube pan. Pour 1/2 of the batter in pan and spread 1/2 of the cranberry sauce on the top. Add remaining batter and rest of the cranberry sauce on top. Sprinkle nuts on top and bake in 350 degree oven for 55 minutes. Cool and sprinkle topping on cake.

TOPPING:

3/4 c. confectioners sugar
2 tbsp. warm water
1 tsp. almond flavoring

Mix together.
