BARBECUED PORK | |
2 lb. boned tenderloin pork 1/2 c. soy sauce 2 tbsp. cornstarch 5 tbsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. monosodium glutamate Combine all ingredients in shallow pan. Draw pork through once on either side. Arrange in a single layer. Marinate for at least 3 hours (overnight is better); turn meat several times. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Arrange pork on a rack in a roasting pan lined with foil. Roast 1/2 hour then turn and roast another half hour. Meat should have a reddish glaze with blackened crust if its thoroughly cooked, even if it has a pinkish tint. Cool on rack for 15 minutes. Slice thin and serve with Chinese mustard and sesame seeds. |
