LYNN'S SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE 
3 c. mashed sweet potatoes
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. milk
1/2 stick butter, melted
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. vanilla

TOPPING:

1/2 stick butter, melted
1 c. light brown sugar
1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. chopped pecans

Mix together first 7 ingredients, blending well. Pour into buttered casserole dish. Mix butter, brown sugar, flour (gradually) and pecans together and crumble over potato mixture. Bake at 350 degrees until hot.

If using plain flour, use 1/4 teaspoon baking powder and dash of salt with flour.
