BLUEBERRY-PEAR COBBLER 
1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
3/4 c. water
2 c. fresh blueberries
4 med.-size fresh pears, peeled, cored, and chopped
Vegetable cooking spray
3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/3 c. skim milk
2 tsp. sugar

Combine 1/4 cup sugar and cornstarch in a medium saucepan, stirring well. Stir in water, and bring to a boil over medium heat. Cook 1 minute. Remove from heat, and gently stir in blueberries and pears. Spoon mixture into a 9 inch square baking dish coated with cooking spray.

Combine flour, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and baking powder in a bowl. Add milk; stir until dry ingredients are moistened. Drop mixture by tablespoonfuls onto fruit. Sprinkle with 2 teaspoons sugar. Bake at 425 degrees for 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm. Yield: 8 servings (about 149 calories per serving).

We loved the blueberry, pear gel mix but not the shortcake like topping. I expected it to spread over the filling but it doesn't. Will make it again but using a different flour mix.
