OVEN BAKED BARBECUED FRANKS 
3 tbsp. butter
1 c. sliced onion
1 c. sliced celery
1 1/2 c. catsup or 1 sm. can tomato sauce
3 tbsp. brown sugar
3 tbsp. white vinegar
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. garlic
1/4 tsp. salt
Ground ginger
8 frankfurters, sliced diagonally

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter, add onion and cook 1 minute. Add celery and cook 2 more minutes, stir in 1/2 cup water and remaining ingredients except franks. Simmer 3 minutes over moderately low heat, stir until well blended. Put franks in a 1 1/2 quart oblong baking dish and pour sauce over. Bake uncovered 15 to 20 minutes. Serves 4.
