BEEF STROGANOFF | |
1/4 c. butter, divided 1 1/2 tsp. minced onion 2 lbs. filet of beef, cut in 1/4x1/4x2 inch strips 1/4 tsp. salt 2 1/2 c. mushrooms, thinly sliced dash of nutmeg 3/4 tsp. liquid brown gravy seasoning 1 c. Sealtest sour cream Melt 2 tablespoons of the butter. Add onion. Cook and stir until golden. Sprinkle beef strips with salt and brown over high heat on both sides. Remove and reduce heat. Melt remaining butter. Cook mushroom slices turning frequently. Season mushroom slices with nutmeg. Return beef strips. Blend liquid gravy seasoning into sour cream. Stir in. Heat thoroughly. Serves 6. |
