OVEN STEAMED RICE 
1 1/2 c. raw reg. white rice
1 1/2 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
2 tbsp. butter
3 1/2 c. boiling water

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a 1 1/2 quart ungreased casserole with tight fitting lid, combine rice, salt and pepper. Dot with butter. Pour boiling water over rice, and stir until butter is melted. Cover, bake 45 minutes (do not peak), (do not stir). To serve, fluff up lightly with fork.
