1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 c. canned applesauce

Cream butter, peanut butter, sugar and egg. Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with applesauce. Pour into greased and floured pan. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees until done.

ICING FOR APPLE PEANUT BUTTER CAKE:

3 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. peanut butter
5 tbsp. milk

Cream all together and spread on cake.
