BROCCOLI RICE CASSEROLE | |
3/4 c. chopped onion 2 tbsp. butter 1 (20 oz.) pkg. frozen, chopped broccoli, thawed 4 oz. pasteurized process cheese spread 1/4 salt 1/8 tsp. hot pepper sauce 3/4 c. chopped celery 3 c. rice 1 (10 oz.) can condensed cream of chicken soup 1/4 tsp. black pepper 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese In large skillet, cook onion and celery in butter until tender-crisp. Add remaining ingredients, except grated cheese. Spoon into buttered 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Top with grated cheese. Bake 3 minutes longer or until cheese melts. Makes 6 servings. |
