PINEAPPLE PUDDING | |
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter 1 c. sugar 4 eggs 5 slices bread 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Break bread with crusts into small chunks; add to creamed mixture. Add can of crushed pineapple with juice. Bake in a greased casserole dish at 350°F for 1 hour. Serves 6 to 8. Serve hot as a side dish with pork or ham. This recipe can be made ahead of time and placed in the refrigerator until ready to bake. Submitted by: Nancy Spano |
