LITTLE DUTCH CAKE | |
1/2 c. (1 cube) butter, room temperature 1 tsp. lemon juice 3/4 c. flour 1/2 c. sugar Pinch of salt 1 egg, beaten to blend Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix all ingredients. (Mixture will be thick.) Lightly butter 8-inch round cake pan. spread batter evenly in pan. Bake about 20 minutes. Cool in pan. Use instead of shortcake with berries. Serves 4-6. |
