CHESS PIE | |
3 eggs 1 c. light cream or Half and Half 1/2 c. butter 1 tbsp. flour 1 c. sugar Dash nutmeg Mix sugar, butter and flour until well blended. Add cream and eggs. Stir well. Pour into unbaked 9 inch pie shell. Dust over with nutmeg. Bake at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes, reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake until filling is set. Test by inserting knife blade a little off center. |
