BOLOGNA SANDWICH
Buy some ham or bologna (one pack) and some bread (one loaf) and buy a little jar of mustard. Then you make yourself a bologna sandwich. Put the bread down on the table, put the bologna on it. Spread the mustard on the bologna. Put another piece of bread on the bologna, then eat it with some milk. Then clean up.

I have 2 variations:

1. Fresh white bread with mayonnaise, American cheese, bologna, lettuce and tomato.

2. Fresh white bread, bologna, American cheese with plain potato chips and ketchup.

Both of these are awesome with Pepsi poured over ice in a real glass, not a plastic cup.

I'm from Mississippi, we fry the bologna, put it on bread with hoop cheese, then grill in butter. We use blue plate mayo.

Finally I have found it, had a recipe that was my gramma's, she died in 1964, I think she took it with her. I tore the house apart trying to find it. Looks just my gram's. The only thing I would do different, I would not clean the sloppy mess up... I for one am too darn lazy. My dog eats everything. It's going to be a nice treat for him... Thank you, thank you, yummy can't wait...

I've been around for 60 yrs, and truly have tried most all of these culinary delights at some point in time. And I can't believe that those that know to cook/fry their Bologna, have not mentioned how to prevent the Bologna bubbles (where just the edges are touching the pan and the center rises up and won't cook) make 4 cuts spread equally around the edge about 1 1/2-inch in depth. Done correctly, you will end up with the perfect Meat Maltese Cross. Oh, always fry in butter! Whew, don't even get me started on Spam!

Healthier- No bread bologna sandwich. Put a tomato slice cut in half on top of a lettuce leaf, as well as pickle or cucumber slices and onion. Then the slice of bologna cut in half also, with your personal condiment.
Necessary to cut items for taking strain off lettuce.
