OLD FASHIONED MEAT LOAF | |
1 lg. egg 2 slices bread, white or wheat, broken into pieces 1 tbsp. Dijon mustard 1 lb. lean ground beef 1/4 c. fresh chopped parsley or 2 tbsp. dried 1/3 to 1/2 c. milk 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/4 c. minced onion 3 to 4 tbsp. ketchup Beat egg, milk, salt and pepper and add bread, Worcestershire, mustard, onion and parsley. Stir to soften bread. Add meat and mix thoroughly. Shape into a loaf and cover with ketchup. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. |
