OLD FASHIONED MEAT LOAF 
1 lg. egg
2 slices bread, white or wheat, broken into pieces
1 tbsp. Dijon mustard
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/4 c. fresh chopped parsley or 2 tbsp. dried
1/3 to 1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. minced onion
3 to 4 tbsp. ketchup

Beat egg, milk, salt and pepper and add bread, Worcestershire, mustard, onion and parsley. Stir to soften bread. Add meat and mix thoroughly. Shape into a loaf and cover with ketchup. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.

This is the recipe that tastes the way meat loaf was made when I was young. Finally found it after 20 pathetic years of searching. Enough drippings for gravy. Just enough for three adults. I would double it for a small party. Very easy to make and results are PERFECT! I usually pull it out of the oven five minutes before I am supposed to, and let it finish cooking by itself to make certain it is not dry.
