BOLOGNA SANDWICH
Buy some ham or bologna (one pack) and some bread (one loaf) and buy a little jar of mustard. Then you make yourself a bologna sandwich. Put the bread down on the table, put the bologna on it. Spread the mustard on the bologna. Put another piece of bread on the bologna, then eat it with some milk. Then clean up.

This is better if you fry the bologna (until browned) in a skillet first.

The way, original way to enjoy gourmet balogna is to slice pieces off with a knife, and have a glass of Chianti. No bread, no grease, no mustard, no mayo. Real balogna doesn't need bandaids, just a glass of Chianti.

The rating above applies to an old family way of making "baloney" sandwiches. All you do is fry the "baloney"in oil place it on the bread and add ketchup. To me, cold "bologna" is ok but my personal preference is hot "baloney" sandwiches ... when I can make them. Then I clean up.

I like my bologna sandwich with 2 pieces of multigrain bread, butter slices, place 1 piece of thick fried beef bologna on bread, spread mashed baked beans onto bologna... Place other piece of bread on top. Yum also the blended bologna and pickles, mayo you can find at supermarket called sandwich spread...

In Texas, we fry the bologna in bacon grease, until edges are crispy brown. Then you slather two slices of Sunbeam fresh bread with the bacon grease you just fried the bologna in. Mash down until real flat. May cut in half or eat whole. Cold glass of milk tastes real good also..

 Everett (Louisiana) says:
I read all these recipes of fried bologna, and none of them mentioned to slit the bologna at three places to keep it from rolling up in a cup. It will stay flat if you do this.

I like my bologna sliced fresh and very thin, with hot mustard and potato chips ON the sandwich.
