ACORN SQUASH WITH APPLESAUCE 
2 acorn squash
1 1/2 c. applesauce
1/4 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cut the squash in half lengthwise and remove the seeds. Put the squash in a baking pan or on a cookie sheet. Bake the squash in the oven until tender, about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Remove from oven. Place the squash cut side up in a shallow greased casserole. Combine the remaining ingredients then fill the squash cavities with mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Serves 4.
