BUTTERSCOTCH FROSTING 
1 c. brown sugar
3 tbsp. shortening
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar

Mix brown sugar, shortening, butter and salt in saucepan and let come to a boil, stirring constantly. Add milk and boil slowly three minutes. Cool. Add sifted powdered sugar. Put nuts on top.
