BUTTERSCOTCH FROSTING 
1/2 c. stick butter
1 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1/4 c. milk
2 c. (about) sifted confectioners' sugar

In deep 8 inch skillet over low heat melt butter; add brown sugar, stirring constantly. Cook for 2 minutes. Add milk; stir until mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat; cool. With a spoon gradually beat in enough confectioners' sugar, keeping smooth, to give a good spreading consistency. Use as frosting for top and side of 9 inch square cake.
