QUICK BUTTERSCOTCH FROSTING 
1 c. brown sugar
3 tbsp. shortening
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. milk
1 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar

Combine brown sugar, shortening, butter and salt in saucepan; bring to boil, stirring constantly. Add milk and boil slowly 3 minutes. Cool. Add confectioners' sugar and beat until thick enough to spread.
