ITALIAN CHEESE BREAD 
1 loaf Italian bread
1 stick butter
1 thinly sliced onion
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 pkg. sliced Swiss cheese
1 pkg. sliced mozzarella cheese

Slice bread into 1 inch slices but do not cut through bottom crust. Place alternate slice of cheese between each slice of bread, leaving a small amount of cheese exposed at top.

Make a boat of aluminum foil and place bread in foil on cookie sheet. Simmer onions in butter until clear. Add lemon juice and spoon mixture over loaf. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
