CRESCA (ITALIAN CHEESE BREAD) | |
12 eggs 1 stick butter 3/4 c. olive oil 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 c. milk 6 c. flour 2 c. grated cheese Little salt (not too much because the cheese has salt in it) 2 pkg. yeast dissolved in 1/2 c. warm water Mix all ingredients together. Knead until dough is smooth. Divide dough into 4 pieces and put into a metal 3 inch deep dish. Let rise and then bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. You can also divide the recipe in 1/2 and make 2 breads. |
