CHOCOLATE CHERRY TORTE 
1 pkg. Duncan Hines devils food cake mix
3 eggs
1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
1 (9 oz.) carton Cool Whip
1/3 c. oil

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix and bake cake with oil and eggs as directed on package. Pour into a greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Bake as directed on mix. Cool thoroughly. Slit cake into 3 layers. Spread 1/3 cup of Cool Whip then 1/3 pie filling between layer and on top. Chill.
