CHILI RELLENOS CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. ground beef 1/2 c. chopped onion 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 (4 oz.) cans green chili, cut in half crosswise and seeded 1 1/2 c. shredded sharp cheese 1 1/2 c. milk 1/4 c. flour 4 beaten eggs 1/2 tsp. salt Dash pepper Several dashes hot pepper sauce Brown meat, onions, salt, and pepper together; drain. Place meat in baking dish. Place half of chiles in baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese. Place rest of chili on top. Beat milk, eggs, flour, and seasonings together. Pour over meat and chili mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes. Cut in squares and serve. |
