LAWRY'S CHILE RELLENO CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. bulk pork sausage 1 sm. onion, chopped 2/3 c. bottled taco relish 3/4 c. milk 4 eggs 1/4 c. flour 2 c. grated Jack cheese 2 (7 oz.) cans whole green chilies (seeded) Brown pork until crumbly and well done (about 20 minutes). Add onion and saute until transparent. Drain fat. Add taco relish and cook until mixture thickens. Beat together milk, eggs and flour and add cheese. Layer chilies, pork mixture, egg and cheese mixture in a greased 8 inch square baking dish. Repeat layers ending with egg and cheese mixture. Bake 350 degrees 45 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. 6-8 servings. |
