STRAWBERRY POUND CAKE 
3 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sour cream
6 eggs
3 c. plain flour 1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 c. sliced or frozen strawberries

Mix sugar, shortening, and sour cream. Add eggs, one at a time. Next add flour, salt, baking powder and milk. Mix well. Fold in strawberries. Bake in tube pan for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350 degrees.

ICING:

1 box confectioners sugar
1 stick butter
2 tbsp. milk

Mix all ingredients together; may add more milk until icing is the thickness desired.
