STRAWBERRY GLAZE AND POUND CAKE
FOR 2
 
6 whole and 12 sliced strawberries
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. water
1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 (1 inch) slices pound cake

Wash 6 whole berries in small pan. Add water, cornstarch and sugar. Heat and stir rapidly over medium high heat until mixture becomes clear. Pour half of mixture on pound cake. Top with sliced berries. Pour remaining glaze over strawberries. Cool in freezer for 10 to 20 minutes.
