45 MINUTE SOUR CREAM BANANA BREAD | |
1/2 c. oil 1 c. sugar 2 eggs 3 ripe bananas 1 c. walnuts 1/4 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. sour cream 2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt Cream oil and sugar until light and creamy. Add eggs and bananas and vanilla. Add sour cream blend well. Measure flour, soda and baking powder. Add to mixture stir in nuts. Mix sugar and cinnamon alternately with batter. Bake at 350 degrees. |

I opted to spray a 9-inch square pan, add the salt with the flour mixture, and I also added 1/2 tsp of nutmeg, which is just meant to be with banana bread. It was done at 40 minutes.
The cinnamon/sugar mixture made a beautiful glaze on top that is delicious! Thanks for sharing your recipe!
