CHINESE PEPPER STEAK 
1 1/2 lb. sirloin steak (cut 1 inch thick)
1/4 c. oil
1 clove pressed garlic
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 or 2 lg. sliced bell pepper
2 med. sliced onion
6 sliced green onions
1/4 c. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. sugar
1 c. beef bouillon
1 can sliced and drained water chestnuts
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. water

Heat oil then add garlic, salt and pepper. Place 1/4 inch steak slices to oil and brown for 2 minutes. Add peppers and onions to cook 3 minutes. Add soy sauce, sugar, bouillon, water chestnuts and cornstarch after dissolving in water. Then add green onions and stir. Simmer 20 minutes until sauce thickens. Serve over rice.
