CHOCOLATE MINT STICKS 
2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. peppermint extract
1/2 c. sifted flour
Few grains salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Melt chocolate and butter over hot water. Beat eggs until frothy; blend in sugar, chocolate, mix, peppermint extract. Add flour, salt, and nuts. Mix thoroughly. Pour into greased 9 inch square pan. Bake 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool. Cover cake and keep refrigerated until frosting is made.
