PENNSYLVANIA RED CABBAGE 
2 tbsp. cooking oil
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. water
1/2 to 1 tsp. caraway seeds
Dash salt and pepper
4 c. shredded red cabbage
2 c. cubed unpeeled apples

Combine all ingredients in pan, cover and cook over low to medium heat, stir occasionally, 20 to 30 minutes. Serves 5 to 6.
