SOFT GINGER MOLASSES COOKIES 
1 1/2 c. olive oil
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. Grandma's molasses
4 1/2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. ginger

Chill dough. Roll into balls the size of walnuts. Dip tops into sugar, place sugar side up on a greased cookie sheet. Bake until set, but not hard, at 350 degrees for 7 or 8 minutes. These cookies flatten out when baked. This dough may be frozen.
